Better usability and functions: ProLightAfrica’s website in a new and improved design.

München / Ilmenau (Germany)
– With a new and improved design Project Lighthouse Africa e.V. (PLA) has relaunched the new website. Six main categories are structuring the new website. “Organisation” is giving you information about the PLA’s goals, vision, board members and structure, current project descriptions, partners and a membership application. “News” is updating you with latest information about the organisation and the subsidiaries. A picture board in the subchapter “Work Report” shows the ongoing process and project developments. In “Testimonial” people are giving their recommendation. The chapter “Donate” gives detailed information how people can support our work. The implementation of a PayPal donation function complements the project linked donation option on crowd funding platform betterplace.org. The “Press” chapter offers further information and contacts for the media. In the “Contact” chapter people can send a message directly to the board of PLA. The website also implements social web functions like twitter feeds, facebook based comment function and also video streams will be integrated. The new website was created through close collaboration and high engagement of Mr. René Rübner, student of applied media science at Institute of Media and Communication Science at Ilmenau University of Technology, Germany.

PLA welcomes any kind of feedback respective usability, content and design of the new website.
